I like this article. The gist is, in a team with trust we shouldn’t need to review every PR.
There are some PRs we should just be able to ship without asking. The tidyings from Tidy First? are a good example.
Some PRs you should tag others in because you want them to be aware of a change. This is show. You don’t need a rubber stamp, but its an FYI.
Fewer PRs you actually want to ask for a review.
In every place I’ve worked we always use the ask strategy and never the others. I think it could be nice to try this out. A lot of my frustration with Pull Request Review comes from the feeling of busy work. I’m just wasting my time on most reviews I perform.
